What is this Battery Recycling Fee and what is it used for?
This fee is collected in support of the Call2Recycle program.
More than 12 million electric bicycles (e-bikes) are estimated to have been sold in the United States between 2020 and 2030. That’s 12 million batteries used to power those e-bikes that will need to be responsibly collected and recycled at their end-of-life.
To ensure those batteries are safely and responsibly handled and kept out of landfills, more than 40 bike industry leaders from 20 PeopleForBikes member companies united under a sustainability task force to design an e-bike battery recycling program in collaboration with Call2Recycle. The period of time is 30 days. If it's been longer than 30 days since you bought the item We're sorry to say that we can't offer you a full exchange or refund.
For your item to be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the same condition as when you received it. The item must be in its original packaging.
